A pre-wedding shoot should feel like time spent together, with photographs and a film that reflect your relationship. Whether you live in India or are travelling from overseas, a clear plan helps you enjoy the experience and know what you are booking.
Choose a location that suits your story
Start with the setting you love: heritage architecture, green hills, riverside scenes or a coastal town. Then consider walking distances, transfers, privacy and space to change outfits. A beautiful location is most useful when it also fits your schedule.
- Hampi, Karnataka: boulder landscapes and heritage-inspired portraits.
- Munnar, Kerala: tea-garden scenery and hill landscapes.
- Puducherry: White Town streets and coastal settings.
- Agra, Uttar Pradesh: heritage-inspired portraits and Taj-view settings, subject to access approval.
Explore our pre-wedding destinations and share your preferred setting with Shining Frame Films. Destination photographs are location references; the agreed shoot plan will identify the actual venues.
Build a practical shoot schedule
For a two-day shoot, consider one main setting each day rather than rushing between many locations. Leave time for road travel, preparation, meals and outfit changes. Keep a backup setting in case weather or access changes.
A sample plan is an afternoon portrait session on day one, followed by an early session and cinematic couple sequences on day two. Your final timings should follow the chosen location, available light and venue rules.
Understand what your quotation includes
Ask for a written breakdown of photography, cinematography, editing, team travel, accommodation, local transport, makeup and venue charges. Check whether your own flights and hotel stay are included. Drone coverage should be treated as a separate request until feasibility and permissions are confirmed.
Before paying, agree on the number of edited photographs, film and teaser lengths, reel formats, delivery schedule, revision scope and any raw-footage handover. Website estimates help you begin planning; your written quotation should define the final services and price.
Keep outfits comfortable and coordinated
Choose two or three looks that suit the surroundings and feel natural to wear. Soft colours, classic formalwear or an Indian outfit can each tell a different part of your story. Bring comfortable footwear for moving between setups and check that there is a suitable changing space.
Planning from outside India
Tell us your country of residence, travel dates, preferred language and WhatsApp number with country code. Share your arrival city, available shoot days and any accessibility or dietary requirements relevant to the schedule. Allow enough time between arrival and shooting to settle in.
Confirm your own entry and travel requirements through the relevant official authorities before making non-refundable arrangements. Filming access is a separate planning step and should be checked for the selected venues.
